Wirksworth Tuesday Market
Wirksworth Town Council reopened the Tuesday Market on 14th July, following a three month break during the national lockdown resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic . Stall numbers are now reduced in order to comply with social distancing requirements and there is a one-way system in place for shoppers.
Please support your local market but take care to adhere to the guidelines and avoid socialising within the market square.
Time: The market operates each Tuesday between 8.30am - 12:30pm.

Getting here: Parking is free for permit-holding Derbyshire Dales residents until 11am in the two car parks in the centre of town (at the Market Place and Barmote Croft) some free street parking is available also and there is a free car park on nearby Wood Lane.
Buses stop directly outside the Memorial Hall. From Matlock the 6.1 (Sixes, TrentBarton towards Belper), 110 or 111 (Your Bus, towards Ashbourne) travel to this stop. From Belper the 6.1 (Sixes, TrentBarton towards Matlock).
Information for Traders:
Traders operate on a casual basis but all stalls must be pre-booked each week. Traders require Public Liability Insurance which can be purchased for as little as £40 pa. See our information guide here.
